|
|
The Leopard Pleco originally came from British
Guiana and are obtained mainly from Brazil. It is also known as the
Leopard Cactus Pleco and the Red Tail Sternella. The reddish orange in the
caudal fin varies with age. The pattern of red in the tail and the dorsal
fin can create the cactus pattern. They are carnivores and grow to a size of
10 inches. The
Leopard prefers subdued lighting and will need a
cave. They are very messy fish and will require excellent filtration.
